Breakfast is served on our patio overlooking the village square—a delightful spot to begin your day in complete relaxation. The sea is just a short walk away at Duino’s picturesque little harbour, while the beaches of Sistiana can be reached in just a few minutes by car.

Trieste is only about 30 minutes away via the spectacular Coastal Road. Duino is also well connected to the surrounding area by public transport, and guests arriving by car can take advantage of our spacious private parking.

Behind the hotel lies the stunning Karst Plateau, renowned for its unique landscapes, the Timavo River springs, spectacular caves, and unforgettable food and wine experiences waiting to be discovered.
Duino is the perfect starting point for exploring a region rich in nature, history, and authentic local flavours.

Our nine recently renovated rooms are spacious, inviting, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. Decorated in natural tones with warm wood and carefully selected materials, they provide a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Each room features large, comfortable beds and modern, well-appointed bathrooms.

All rooms include air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, TV, and ample space for luggage and clothing. Most rooms also feature a private balcony, perfect for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Duino, especially during the quiet evenings.

    Very pleasant and relaxing stay.

    I spent three nights at Hotel Al Pescatore. The rooms are perfect, lovely and extremely clean. We had a beautiful room on the first floor with a balcony where you can relax as soon as you wake up. The restaurant is very good and the service is excellent, everyone takes care of the guests and is kind and friendly. Highly recommended, you can take walks along a path that leads to Sistiana, see the two castles of Duino, and relax in this oasis of peace. I still recommend this place, I hope to come back soon!!

    We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The location is convenient, right in front of the beautiful Duino Castle. The town is a 20-minute drive from Trieste, so without being in the city, you're close to everything. The hotel has recently renovated rooms (ours didn't have a TV), but it was still very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is excellent, though not cheap. Simple cuisine and very good fish. The only downside is that the restaurant isn't open for dinner.

    Very nice hotel, strategic location for visiting the surrounding area.

    We stayed two nights over the June 2nd weekend. Although the property looks a bit dated from the outside, the rooms have all been renovated in a modern style, very nice, and the bathroom is really lovely. The town is very convenient for comfortably visiting Trieste and the surrounding area, just a few km from both Trieste and Grado or Monfalcone. The hotel is located just a few meters from Castel Duino and the Rilke Path (a beautiful walk along the Duino cliffs), in a quiet and peaceful spot. The owner was very helpful in providing information on where to dine or where to go to visit the surrounding area.

    My husband and I, along with our little Yorkie, stayed at this property for a week. We made use of both the restaurant and the room, everything was perfect! The full breakfast served in the garden by Sofia, Lisa and Alice, who were very kind, always friendly and helpful, just like Mr. Corrado, who was always kind and accommodating. We practically had dinner there every evening because the food is really good. The room was spacious, bright, comfortable, with comfortable beds. We will definitely be back soon!
